The problem
Somebody rang, left their details and did not book.
You meant to ring them back. Then it was Friday.
What Marcus does
1Texts the people who rang and did not book.
2Answers their replies in your firm’s name, checks your real diary and books the visit.
3After a quote visit, chases the quote by text, 2, 5 and 10 days later. Every text is in the Office.
The bit everyone asks
“What if he gets it wrong?”
He only books a time your diary offered, inside your area and your hours. He only gives a price from your own price book. He does not pass the customer back to you. He moves or cancels a booking when they ask. He offers a visit when they ask something he has no answer for, or a price that is not in your book. He gives your business number, which Quinn answers, to someone who wants to speak to a person. He offers a return visit to someone who is unhappy. A hazard, such as gas, water or no power, is flagged to you as urgent. You get one message at the end of the day with complaints, questions he could not answer, the day’s bookings and the quotes being chased. Nothing in it needs a reply.

In my first reply I say I am an AI assistant for your business.
I text between 08:00 and 21:00, UK time. If somebody texts STOP, I do not text them again.
